Eovaldi Sets the Tone
Nathan Eovaldi anchored the Texas Rangers’ offense with a sharp pitching performance, securing his ninth win of the season in a 10-4 victory over the Detroit Tigers at Globe Life Field on Friday. Eovaldi pitched five innings, allowing three earned runs on six hits while striking out nine batters and issuing one walk. His ability to neutralize the Tigers’ lineup early provided the foundation for a game that saw Texas pull away in the later innings.
