UNT releases 2026-27 basketball schedule as season tickets go on sale

North Texas has released its 13-game nonconference men's basketball schedule for 2026-27, with season tickets available through the Mean Green Ticket Office. Second-year head coach Daniyal Robinson will lead the Mean Green into the schedule, which includes nine games at the Super Pit in Denton.

The schedule includes a three-game Snake Rivers Invitational in Idaho Falls, Idaho, from Nov. 27 through Nov. 29, with Drake, North Dakota State and Boise State listed as opponents. North Texas will first play on the road Nov. 20 at App State in Boone, North Carolina.

The team will also meet Texas State on Dec. 13 at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth in the Coast-to-Coast Challenge, its second consecutive appearance in the event.

North Texas opens Nov. 2 against Southwest Christian and then hosts McNeese on Nov. 5, Santa Clara on Nov. 11 and South Alabama on Nov. 14. McNeese and Santa Clara reached the 2025-26 NCAA Tournament, while South Alabama played in the NIT.

The final games are at home against Bradley on Dec. 4, Mississippi Valley State on Dec. 6, Winthrop on Dec. 16, Bethune-Cookman on Dec. 20 and the University of the Southwest on Dec. 22. The American Conference schedule is expected later. Tickets are available at 940-565-2527 or ticketoffice@unt.edu.

The ticket office is at Gate 2 of DATCU Stadium and is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
