SMU is scheduled to welcome Clemson, NC State, Georgia Tech and Stanford for home ACC football games in 2027. The Mustangs will begin the season against Oklahoma at AT&T Stadium.
Their conference road schedule includes games at Cal, Virginia, Boston College, Pittsburgh and Duke. The nine-game ACC slate will be the second played under the league's current scheduling system, which requires nine conference games and at least 10 games each season against Power Four opponents. The ACC said dates and the complete 2027 football schedule are expected in late January.
With Rhett Lashlee as head coach, SMU has gone 15-2 in conference competition and remains unbeaten in ACC games at Gerald J. Ford Stadium. That record is the best among ACC programs during the span.
