Princeton’s Promise Walk is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 1, from 6 to 8 p.m. along the trail at J.M. Caldwell Sr. Community Park.
The park is at 500 W. College Avenue in Princeton, Texas. The city describes the evening as a gathering to raise breast-cancer awareness and support people affected by the disease, and invites residents to bring family, friends and walking shoes.
Weather deserves a check before heading out. A National Weather Service flood watch includes Collin County from Wednesday afternoon through Friday morning, covering the scheduled walk. The city’s event listing still showed the Oct. 1 date when checked early Wednesday.
