The Texas Department of Transportation has identified its recommended corridor for a proposed north-south freeway through northeast Collin County, the Princeton Herald reported Wednesday.
The recommendation advances plans for a six-lane, controlled-access roadway running about 10 miles, connecting State Highway 121 to the future U.S. 380 Princeton Freeway.
TxDOT presented the recommended corridor at a public hearing in Princeton, saying the route "best satisfies the study goals while minimizing impacts to surrounding communities and environmental resources."
