MaryAnn "Candy" Copeland, a Princeton resident and longtime Princeton High School employee who died Sept. 7, is survived by her husband of 49 years and five children.

MaryAnn "Candy" Copeland, 69, died on September 7 at her Princeton home with family present.

Born August 5, 1957, in San Antonio, she wed Danny Copeland on July 1, 1977, in Princeton. The couple remained married for 49 years.

Copeland spent 29 years working at Princeton High School, where she interacted with numerous students throughout her career.

She is survived by her husband; children Leslie Tucker and Brad, Lyndie Keyes and Matt, and Daniel Copeland and Jeannie; grandchildren Layla Keyes, Hadley Keyes, Brynn Tucker, Bailyn Tucker, Darcy Copeland, Chancey Copeland, and Everly Copeland; mother JoAnn Frankum; and siblings Ginger Williams, Joey Goodman, and Chuck Hutcheson.

Her father, Ray Goodman, preceded her in death.
