Farmersville’s senior class delivered a standout athletic performance during the 2025-26 season, securing district awards and state championships across several sports. Farmersville is located approximately 8 miles east of Princeton.

Alexia Hernandez earned District 13-4A Defensive Player of the Year honors in girls basketball. She anchored the defense for the Lady Farmers, who finished with an 18-11 record and reached the playoffs. Hernandez also played volleyball, where she transitioned to setter mid-season. She recorded 130 digs, 89 assists, and 40 service aces, earning a spot on the all-district first team as the team posted a 29-13 record. Hernandez will attend East Texas Baptist University to cheer but will not compete in sports at the collegiate level.

Conner Bakken captured the Texas High School Powerlifting Association Division II state title in the 123-pound division. Lifting a combined total of 1,275 pounds across the squat, bench press, and deadlift, Bakken became the first boys powerlifter in Farmersville history to win a state championship. His victory followed a junior season missed due to a knee injury sustained in fifth grade.

Daniel Mendoza was named District 11-4A Utility Player of the Year for the second consecutive season. As the only four-year starter for the boys soccer team, he helped the program reach the playoffs for the first time in back-to-back years. Mendoza scored one goal and assisted on another in a playoff loss to Sunnyvale. He also served as goalkeeper during his junior year. Fellow alum Christian Aguilar was named Co-Kicker of the Year in District 5-4A Division II football.

Ethan Stone contributed to three sports. In football, he recorded 510 receiving yards and six touchdowns, earning All-District 5-4A Division II first-team honors. In basketball, he helped the team achieve a 23-8 record and received All-13-4A honorable mention. On the track, Stone broke the school record in the 400-meter run, a mark that had stood since 1998. He placed sixth at the 4A state meet with a time of 48.67 seconds, becoming the first boys track athlete from Farmersville to qualify for states since 2013.

Jacey Wheaton played softball for Farmersville. Specific statistics and awards for her season were not provided in the source material.
