Princeton police log 15 incidents in week ending Sept. 4

The Princeton Police Department recorded 15 calls for service between Aug. 28 and Sept. 4, including vehicle accidents, property damage, and suspicious activity reports.

The Princeton Police Department released its activity log for the week ending Sept. 4, detailing 15 calls for service across the community. The reported incidents included vehicle collisions, property damage, theft, and multiple reports of suspicious activity.

The week began on Friday, Aug. 28, with a disturbance reported on Rum River Dr. S. at 9:26 p.m. Shortly after, at 11:57 p.m., officers responded to suspicious activity on 10th Ave. S.

On Saturday, Aug. 29, two vehicle accidents were recorded. The first occurred at 12:18 p.m. at the intersection of 7th Ave. N. and 1st St. N. The second happened at 1:47 p.m. at 1st St. N. and 9th Ave. N.

Sunday, Aug. 30, saw one report of suspicious activity on 15th St. N. at 9:06 p.m. The following day, Monday, Aug. 31, included a vehicle accident on Highway 95 at Beetle Rd. at 1:24 p.m. Criminal damage to property was reported on Rum River Dr. S. at 3:56 p.m., and a fire was addressed on Willow Cir. at 9:56 p.m.

Tuesday, Sept. 1, was the busiest day with five incidents. These included a trespassing complaint on Old Highway 18 S. at 9:08 a.m., suspicious activity on Meadow View Dr. at 1:04 p.m., property damage on Northland Dr. at 2:10 p.m., a theft on 7th Ave. S. at 2:39 p.m., and a threats complaint on 19th Ave. S. at 10:49 p.m.

The week concluded with three additional reports. On Wednesday, Sept. 2, suspicious activity was noted on 15th Ave. S. at 2:17 p.m. and on 4th St. Cir. at 11:38 p.m.

A noise complaint was received on 5th Ave. N. on Thursday, Sept. 3, at 2:36 p.m. Finally, on Friday, Sept. 4, a disturbance was reported on 290th Ave. at 2:21 a.m., and an unwanted person was removed from Rum River Dr. S. at 2:22 a.m.
