Regular unleaded averages $3.8833 in the Dallas area, up from yesterday, up from last week and above the Texas average.

Princeton, Texas — Gas prices in the Dallas area averaged $3.8833 per gallon for regular unleaded on September 11, 2026, according to AAA, up from $3.8690 yesterday. That is up from $3.6482 a week ago but higher than $3.5539 a month ago.

The statewide average in Texas stands at $3.8468, while the national average is $4.2950. Drivers in the Dallas area are paying above the state average and below the national average.

The Dallas average remains below its AAA recorded high of $4.8370. Regular prices are about 33 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $2.8859, drivers are paying about 100 cents more per gallon.

Diesel in the Dallas area averages $5.8339 per gallon, AAA reported.
