Early Power Shifts the Momentum

Rangers Rally Falls Short
The Texas Rangers began their comeback effort in the fifth inning. Spencer T. Freeman connected with a 388-foot home run to left center, narrowing the gap to 3-1. The momentum shifted further in the seventh inning when Lara singled to left, allowing Contreras to score and bringing the Brewers to 4-1. A sacrifice fly by Pratt then brought Mitchell home, cutting the lead to 5-1. Despite these efforts, the Rangers were unable to close the distance completely before the final frame.
