Durán’s impact was immediate in the third inning when he launched a 410-foot home run to left center, tying the game at 2-2 after Milwaukee had taken an early lead. His influence continued in the fifth inning with a ground-rule double that scored two runs, giving Texas a 4-2 advantage.
Rangers Pitching Holds Firm After Early Struggles
Texas got a quality start from Kumar Rocker, who pitched three innings and struck out seven batters despite allowing four hits and two earned runs. The Rangers’ bullpen provided critical support to maintain their lead.
