Henry To'oTo'o is expected to miss time after suffering a shoulder injury in Houston's 36-31 loss to Buffalo, coach DeMeco Ryans said Monday. The Texans have not decided whether to place the starting linebacker on injured reserve.
To'oTo'o was injured with 2:34 left in the fourth quarter while tackling Bills tight end Dawson Knox. He needed assistance to get up, went to the sideline and did not return. Houston drafted him in the fifth round in 2023, and he agreed to a two-year extension worth $16 million in August.
The Texans next play Cincinnati at home, Indianapolis on the road and Dallas at home. All three opponents were in the NFL's 12 highest-scoring offenses last season. Buffalo's 36 points were the second-most Houston has surrendered during Ryans' tenure, behind the 37 points allowed to Tampa Bay in 2023.
Houston had not allowed more than 30 points since Baltimore scored 31 on Christmas in 2024. ESPN reported the injury update.
