The Houston Texans have re-signed tight end Louis Hansen, marking his second stint with the franchise. Hansen first joined the team in June but was waived in late July. His return does not require any adjustments to the current roster.
Hansen, who went undrafted in April, played college football at both the University of Michigan and the University of Connecticut. During his collegiate career, he accumulated 46 receptions for 463 yards and scored four touchdowns over 40 games.
The Texans currently have several tight ends on their roster, including Dalton Schultz, Foster Moreau, second-round draft pick Marlin Klein, Cade Stover, Brevin Jordan, and Layne Pryor. Details regarding Hansen's specific role with the team are still pending.
