Houston Texans linebacker Henry To’oTo’o is expected to miss time with a shoulder injury sustained in the team’s 36-31 defeat against the Buffalo Bills in Week 1. Coach DeMeco Ryans disclosed the update on Sept. 14.
To’oTo’o exited during the fourth quarter, with the result still undecided, and did not return. He made two tackles before leaving. He finished the 2025 season with 95 total tackles after recording more than 100 in 2024.
The injury creates another issue for Houston’s linebacker unit. Troy Chapman of Over The Cap wrote on X that the development was predictable after To’oTo’o was seen using a sling. Garret Williams, who posts as Houston Stressans, identified Wade Woodaz and Jake Hansen as potential choices. Hansen, however, was also hurt during the game.
