Ryan Flournoy is set to remain with the Dallas Cowboys through the 2027 season under a reported $6 million, one-year extension. The agreement is expected to be signed this week, before Dallas opens its regular season against the New York Giants.
The wide receiver was a sixth-round pick by Dallas in 2024 and had been on track for restricted free agency following the 2026 season. The new agreement removes that possibility and gives the Cowboys another year of contractual control. It also provides Flournoy with a chance to continue developing during the 2026 and 2027 seasons, while a longer-term deal could still be considered later.
Dallas waived Flournoy during its first roster reductions in 2025, but he cleared waivers and eventually rejoined the organization on its practice squad. That arrangement replaced his original four-year rookie contract, leaving three years on his new deal before a possible restricted-free-agent season. Flournoy is coming off what the team called a breakout 2025 campaign.
Dallas also recently reached a three-year extension agreement with tight end Brevyn Spann-Ford.
