Noah Brown, a former wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys, has officially signed with the Las Vegas Raiders, as announced on Sunday. This addition provides the Raiders with a physical and experienced target in their receiving lineup, leading to the release of defensive tackle Benito Jones to accommodate the new roster spot.

Brown's career has been marked by challenges, including injuries that caused him to miss 19 games during his time with the Washington Commanders. When healthy, he demonstrated his skills, achieving 40 receptions for 536 yards and one touchdown, with an average of 13.4 yards per catch.

Drafted by the Cowboys in the seventh round of the 2017 NFL Draft after playing at Ohio State, Brown became known for his reliability. He had a notable 2022 season in Dallas, recording 43 catches for 555 yards and three touchdowns.

Following his time with the Cowboys, he signed with the Houston Texans, where he made 33 receptions for 567 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 17.2 yards per reception.

While the Raiders do not expect Brown to be the primary offensive focus, his size and experience could enhance their receiving rotation. This signing represents a new opportunity for Brown to further his NFL career after facing setbacks due to injuries in Washington.
