Dallas will have two offensive linemen remaining on its practice squad after Green Bay agreed to sign guard Laken Tomlinson, NFL Network reporters Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo reported. Tomlinson joined the Cowboys earlier in the month, following All-Pro guard Tyler Smith's move to injured reserve after thumb surgery.
He did not appear in Dallas' first two games, and the timing of his Packers debut is unknown. Dallas is scheduled to visit Green Bay in Week 6.
Marcellus Johnson and Wanya Morris are now the Cowboys' practice-squad offensive linemen. Johnson is listed at tackle and has not appeared in an NFL game. Morris has played both left and right tackle during his three-year career. Smith can return from injured reserve after Week 4.
Tomlinson, 34, entered the NFL as Detroit's first-round pick in the 2015 draft. He has played 173 games and started 162 across 11 seasons, including a 2021 Pro Bowl selection with San Francisco. His other teams have included the New York Jets, Seattle Seahawks and Houston Texans, for whom he played 10 games in 2025.
Green Bay has had offensive-line injuries, with Aaron Banks and Zach Bako-Bewele missing Week 3. Bako-Bewele suffered a torn patellar tendon and will miss the rest of the season. Packers quarterback Jordan Love has been sacked eight times, while the team has allowed 57 pressures through three games, according to Pro Football Focus.
