The Dallas Cowboys have secured a one-year contract with Von Miller, a prominent player in the NFL known for his impressive career sack total. Miller announced his signing via Instagram, sharing his enthusiasm with the phrase, "Hereee Weee Gooo."

Hailing from DeSoto, Texas, located about 25 minutes south of Dallas, Miller has deep connections to the region, having played college football at Texas A&M. As he embarks on his 15th NFL season, he joins the Cowboys after a year with the Washington Commanders, where he tallied 26 tackles and nine sacks across 17 games.

Miller boasts a remarkable career, having captured two Super Bowl championships, first with the Denver Broncos in 2015 and later with the Los Angeles Rams in 2021. Drafted second overall by the Broncos in 2011, he has also played for the Buffalo Bills. His career statistics include 138.5 sacks, placing him tied for 13th all-time with Hall of Famer DeMarcus Ware, a former Cowboy.

Additionally, Miller's record features 607 tackles, 271 quarterback hits, and 27 forced fumbles over 203 games. His accolades encompass three First Team All-Pro honors and eight Pro Bowl selections. The Cowboys will kick off their 2026 regular season on September 13 against the New York Giants during a Sunday Night Football event.
