Princeton Fire Station 4 has been shut down temporarily because of identified maintenance and electrical hazards within the facility. Department officials stated that the closure began on Monday, June 29, following an assessment that revealed life-safety issues requiring immediate attention.
The building must undergo necessary repairs before it can reopen. Despite the shutdown, authorities confirmed that residents in District 4 will continue to receive full emergency and fire response services. Operational adjustments have already been implemented to maintain coverage standards for the area while the station remains out of service.
