Houston answered immediately in the same frame, with Jackson Merrill launching a 411-foot homer to center field to cut the deficit to 2-1.

San Diego’s offense exploded in the fourth inning, putting the game out of reach. Fernando Tatis Jr. launched a 421-foot home run to left field, a three-run shot that extended the Padres’ advantage to 4-2. The momentum remained with San Diego as they added another run later in the contest.

In the sixth inning, Dylan Sheets hit a 393-foot homer to right field, making the score 5-2.
