The starting pitcher worked through seven innings, surrendering only a single hit while striking out five batters. He walked two but kept the White Sox offense static throughout his outing.
Wesneski’s performance set the stage for a complete team effort. He was supported by relief pitchers AJ Blubaugh and Josh Hader, who combined to pitch two scoreless innings. Blubaugh worked one inning, allowing two hits and walking one batter. Hader closed out the game with a perfect frame, recording his 22nd save of the season by retiring all three batters he faced.
White Sox Struggles Continue
The White Sox starters faced significant challenges against the Astros' lineup. Davis Martin took the mound for Chicago, pitching 5.2 innings and allowing five hits. Although he did not allow any earned runs, he struck out three and walked one before being relieved.

Tyler Davis closed the outing for Chicago with a brief appearance, pitching 0.1 innings and issuing one walk without allowing any hits or runs.
