Regular unleaded averages $3.7620 in the Dallas area, up from yesterday, up from last week and above the Texas average.

Princeton, Texas — Gas prices in the Dallas area averaged $3.7620 per gallon for regular unleaded on July 23, 2026, according to AAA, up from $3.7050 yesterday. That is up from $3.6590 a week ago but higher than $3.2560 a month ago.

The statewide average in Texas stands at $3.7080, while the national average is $4.0910. Drivers in the Dallas area are paying above the state average and below the national average.

The Dallas average remains below its AAA recorded high of $4.8370. Regular prices are about 51 cents higher than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $2.9020, drivers are paying about 86 cents more per gallon.

Diesel in the Dallas area averages $4.9780 per gallon, AAA reported.
