Regular unleaded averages $3.2910 in the Dallas area, up from yesterday, up from last week and below the Texas average.

Princeton, Texas — Gas prices in the Dallas area averaged $3.2910 per gallon for regular unleaded on July 8, 2026, according to AAA, up from $3.1950 yesterday. That is up from $3.2670 a week ago but lower than $3.5110 a month ago.

The statewide average in Texas stands at $3.3530, while the national average is $3.7960. Drivers in the Dallas area are paying below the state average and below the national average.

The Dallas average remains below its AAA recorded high of $4.8370. Regular prices are about 22 cents lower than a month ago. Compared with a year ago, when the metro average was $2.8800, drivers are paying about 41 cents more per gallon.

Diesel in the Dallas area averages $4.2470 per gallon, AAA reported.
