Taco Bell is reintroducing four menu items originally released in 2016, with the nationwide rollout beginning on August 20. This release marks the third chapter of the chain's Decades Menu initiative. The limited-time lineup includes the Naked Chicken Chalupa, Beefy Crunch Burrito, Meximelt, and Caramel Apple Empanada.

The Naked Chicken Chalupa is priced at $5.99 and consists of a crispy shell made from all-white-meat chicken marinated in Mexican-inspired spices. It is filled with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and Avocado Ranch Sauce. The item was first tested in Kansas City in 2016.

Customers can also purchase a $9 Discovery Luxe Box, which pairs the Chalupa with a Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito, a Crunchy Taco, Chips & Nacho Cheese sauce, and a medium fountain drink.

The other three returning items feature ingredients from the original 2016 lineup. The Beefy Crunch Burrito costs $2.79 and contains seasoned beef, Flamin’ Hot Fritos, seasoned rice, reduced-fat sour cream, and nacho cheese sauce. The Meximelt is priced at $2.99 and includes seasoned beef, pico de gallo, and a warm three-cheese blend in a soft flour tortilla.

The Caramel Apple Empanada, also $2.99, consists of warm apple pieces and caramel inside a crispy pastry shell.

Taco Bell Rewards members can access the Beefy Crunch Burrito early through the company’s mobile application before the full menu launch. The company is also partnering with streetwear brand Anti Social Social Club and camera maker Camp Snap for a Tuesday Drop on August 25 via the mobile app.

Additionally, users can gain early access to Divine, a six-second video-sharing application inspired by Vine, by using the code TACO-BELL ahead of the platform’s public launch on August 20.

An interactive scavenger hunt will run within the Taco Bell mobile application from August 25 to September 14. This three-week period will feature new promotional offers each week.
