The landscapes depicted in the show primarily feature the grasslands and mesquite of Parker, Wise, and Johnson counties, contrasting with the Rio Grande Valley setting described in the series.
"Dutton Ranch" premiered on May 15, 2026, with its first two episodes, and continued weekly for a total of nine episodes, concluding on July 3. The show achieved significant viewership, attracting 12.9 million global viewers in its opening week, marking it as the largest original series launch on Paramount+.
The cast includes Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser, among others, with Chad Feehan as the creator and showrunner.
