The U.S. News & World Report has recognized 48 companies from the Dallas-Fort Worth area in its latest Best Companies to Work For list, with Dallas boasting the highest representation at 24 companies. This recognition is significant for residents of Princeton, which is located about 33 miles northeast of Dallas.
The 2026-2027 edition evaluated approximately 3,900 companies across 14 different industries. Companies were assessed based on six criteria: pay and benefits, work-life balance, job stability, comfort, belongingness, and career opportunities. The rankings were initially reported by CultureMap Fort Worth.
Among the notable Dallas companies are Texas Instruments, Southwest Airlines, and the American Heart Association. Irving follows with 13 companies, including Kimberly-Clark and Caterpillar, while Plano has five, such as Tyler Technologies. Fort Worth features two companies, and four others are located elsewhere in the metroplex, highlighting the diverse employment landscape in the region.
